Comprehensive range of energy-efficient technologies helps industrial customers improve energy saving and emission reduction
Shanghai, China, June 6, 2008 –ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, will showcase its comprehensive range of energy-conservation products, systems and solutions for power and automation sectors in the 3rd Shanghai International Energy Saving & Environmental Protection Exposition (ESEP Expo) and the 3rd Guangzhou International Exposition on Electricity Saving Equipment and Technology during the 2008 National Energy Conservation Propaganda Week. ABB will set up a special exhibition forum to extensively introduce ABB’s successful experience in helping customer save energy and reduce consumption for power, automation and robot sectors.
During the National Energy Conservation Propaganda Week, ABB will not only introduce its advanced energy efficiency technologies to more domestic power and industrial customers, but will also prompt the financial benefits brought by energy saving products and technology through the successful cases of its customers. ABB hopes that enterprises should not only focus on the purchase price when buying energy efficient equipment, but should also consider the cost over its entire lifespan.
Co-sponsored by six organizations including Shanghai Energy Conservation Association and Shanghai Energy Conservation Service Center, the Shanghai ESEP Expo is an important part of a series of activities during the National Energy Conservation Propaganda Week (Shanghai). During the exposition, ABB will showcase its efficient as well as energy-saving motor and drive system, together with its efficient as well as low-loss power and distribution transformers, high-voltage power capacitor, i-bus® KNX intelligent installation system, switcher, fusegears and energy performance services, etc. As one of the first enterprises promoting energy efficiency, ABB’s power and automation technologies can improve the energy efficiency of various steps in the entire energy conversion process.
At the same time, ABB will also attend the Green-Eco Building Technology Forum, one of the series activities during the National Energy Conservation Propaganda Week (Shanghai). In the area of green-eco building, ABB’s i-bus® EIB intelligent installation system is widely recognized by more and more office building, plant and residential complex customers. Through control over various terminal electrical appliances, such as lighting, window curtain, air-conditioning and floor heating, etc., it can fully meet the highest requirements of consumers for future household lifestyle and energy conservation.
In Guangzhou, ABB will attend the 3rd Guangzhou International Exposition on Electricity Saving Equipment and Technology and the 2nd Guangzhou International Exposition on New Electric Energy Technology and Equipment, which will be held from June 25 to June 27, to promote advanced energy efficiency technologies as well as management principles.
On the afternoon of Jun. 25, Mr. Xu Shaojing, head of the energy conservation team of ABB (China) Limited, will make a keynote speech titled “Energy Conservation: Solution Exceeds Single Technical Measures”. On the afternoon of Jun. 26, ABB will host a 3-hour special exhibition forum to introduce ABB’s successful experience in helping customers from power, automation and robot sectors increase energy efficiency.
