ABB products confirmed environment-friendly

- Type II Ecolabelling Awarded to ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co. Ltd.

Beijing, China, October 17, 2003 – ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, announced three ABB products are awarded Chinese Type II Ecolabelling certificate. The UniGear type ZS1 and UniGear type ZS3.2 switchgear and the VD4 vacuum circuit breaker are leading products of ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co. Ltd.

Based on ISO14021 standard on product life cycle analysis, ABB Xiamen Switchgear Co. Ltd. declares that UniGear type ZS1 and ZS3.2 switchgear is featured with saving resources, energy conservation, prolonged life span, designed for easy disassembling, being recyclable, and produces minimum wastes. VD4 vacuum circuit breaker is characterized of saving energy and prolonged life span. The environmental product declarations are verdict by the Secretariat Commission of China Environmental Labeling (SCCEL), a subsidiary of State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA).

Ecolabelling is to validate the environmental characters of products, which confirms the sustainable development mission of companies.
